Paris's Galentines Table

I have always envisioned being one of those individuals who always hosts different types of events for their friends, family, and the girls in my home! So, I jumped at the chance when I saw there was an opportunity to host one for Valentines. Straight away I knew I wanted my theme to be ‘Galentines’. Empowering women, female bonding, girls supporting girls, making them feel loved (single or taken) and honouring them.

I wanted my theme to be as feminine, chic and grown up, filled with soft elements and romance. The oak table was stunning, so we left it uncovered to showcase the natural elements which was a lovely starting point. I used fresh flowers with colour palettes of white, lilac, pink, red, burgundy, and black and cut them all to length to showcase in our lovely bud vases. The smell from these flowers were gorgeous! The vases were laid out across the table distributing different heights and colours to provide balance.

To complement the fresh flowers, I added in our dinner candles- a combination of our pink ombre candles, pink straight candles and our warm colour spiral candles. A combination of classic candlestick holders with the geometric modern style bought together a fresh style to the theme. As the winter nights were still apparent, I used our string lights to elevate the ambience in the room by placing them in between the candles and flowers down the middle of the table. Complementing the ambience and Galantines, I decorated the fireplace and room shutters with our new white & pink paper heart 3D garland which added to that extra romance.

The cherry on top for me for my Galantines table was the personalised heart shaped cookies we had made from a lovely local bakery called The Cookie Shelf. The personalised cookies gave the perfect finishing touch to make sure all the ladies felt they that had truly been thought off, sharing all the love! #Galentines
